Experienced Sourdough Baker (full-time) 
£10/hour, approx. 45 hours over 5 days

We are looking for an experienced baker to join our small, dynamic team in the foothills of the Black Mountains. You will be mixing and shaping a variety of bread, including high hydration sourdough, yeasted and enriched doughs. You will be baking a range of breads and pastries - and finishing products once baked - for our bakery shop and for wholesale delivery. You will be expected to work in a clean, organised manner to a high standard of food health and safety, to understand and work with a digital recipe system to complete daily weigh-ups, and to pack orders for daily wholesale and online order deliveries. 

We are looking for a baker with at least two years' experience in a sourdough production bakery (viennoiserie experience is not essential). As part of a small team, you will need to be able to confidently work independently, efficiently and share responsibility for maintaining the high standards and smooth running of the bakery. You should have a keen attention to detail and a willingness and curiosity to learn within a skilled team. You should enjoy working with us to use carefully sourced ingredients and small scale producers, be conscious of wastage and sustainability and to contribute to the preparation of thoughtfully made staff food. There will be no night shifts, but we expect a positive, can-do attitude to early mornings.

Barista (part-time) 
Starting salary National Minimum Wage, approx. 18 hours/week, Fridays & Saturdays

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic barista with previous experience of making and serving speciality grade coffee in a busy, customer-facing environment. You must enjoy working cleanly and efficiently to provide outstanding coffees and customer service in our bakery shop. You will need to be able to confidently work independently within our small team of shop staff, supporting them in a customer service role where necessary. You will clean, pack down and ensure the correct stock and equipment are in place for each service. You should have excellent attention to detail and enjoy maintaining high standards under pressure.

Shop Assistant (part-time) 
Starting salary National Minimum Wage, various positions between approx. 10 to 30 hours/week

We're looking for confident, positive and enthusiastic individuals with customer service experience and a keen interest in food and drink. You will be an excellent communicator who enjoys maintaining a warm and professional environment for customers and staff in our bakery shop and general food store. You will need to have a dedicated work ethic and a strong desire to learn about the produce we make and sell, with excellent attention to detail and happy to work in a fast-paced environment. From serving customers and explaining products, to building displays and restocking, the responsibilities of these positions require varied and interesting skills.
