About Us

The Angel Bakery started trading in 2016 directly from our bakery on Lower Castle Street in Abergavenny. We make long-fermented sourdough breads and pastries by hand using flour from British mills.

As well as selling to our local community, we have built up a significant wholesale trade supplying delis, cafes and restaurants both in Monmouthshire and further afield in Cardiff and Bristol. We have become part of an outstanding local food supply network, most of whom also supply directly to restaurants.

The Angel Bakery and General Store (50 Cross Street; just opposite The Angel Hotel); open Tuesdays through to Saturdays from 9.00am – 4.00pm.

Saturday 24th December - Closing at 1pm  
Sunday 25th December - Closed
Monday 26th December - Closed
Tuesday 27th December - Closed
Wednesday 28th through to Friday 30th December - Open as usual from 9am - 4pm 
Saturday 31st December - Closing at 1pm 
Tuesday 3rd January - Re-opening as usual from 9am - 4pm
